The Instamatic 500 was from Kodak AG (Germany). It was their top-of-the-line Instamatic. Made in 1963, it features fully manual exposure and scale focusing, and a selenium match-needle meter. The meter still works after all these years! Although it’s a bit bulkier than a newer compact 35mm, it’s still reasonably small and the lens retracts so you can pocket the camera in a jacket.
