This may come as a shock to many of you, but the truth is… I have a strange sense of humour. Some might say it’s warped or twisted, or perhaps even sprained.

Having got that out in the open, it should come as no surprise then that I find the webcomics at Cyanide and Happiness to be quite entertaining.

Yes, it consists primarily of crudely-drawn stick-figure type illustrations. But it’s consistent, and the humour is, shall we say, off-beat. So go check it out. It’s worth a guilty giggle or two.

It’s always funny to see the subtle changes on the first day of school.

Traffic is moderately busier. The drive-through coffee shop is about 300% busier. And of course, there’s kids out and about, running across roads and crossing intersections on a red signal and all that fun stuff.

The best part of course is the little schadenfreude of knowing their summer break is over and they’re all going to be stuck behind desks for the next 9 or 10 months.

Ha ha ha.

Makes it a little easier for the rest of us who don’t get the 2-month break.

I was wandering around teh interwebz the other day and stumbled across something funny.

The Oatmeal – a sort of bloggy, sort of comicy, and all round funny site. He has a lot of fun stuff, and some of it is even edjumicational. Like for instance,  you can learn about the reproduction habits of the Angler Fish, or the life cycles of a Parasitic Flatworm.

I don’t even remember where I was surfing when I spotted these two ads on the edge of my screen. Normally my filters are very good at blanking this stuff out so that I can no longer see it, but when something comes along that is funny or ironic, the filters know enough to pop it into my awareness.

So here’s two ads offering quick ways for people to earn lots of money. I’ve underlined the bits that I thought were funny at the time.

It might not be so funny now, I’m not sure.

Anyhow, I have to question the whole concept – I mean, if these people have proven ways to make money, why would they want to share them? I mean, just do it yourself and then you have all teh moneez!

This animated show, co-produced in Canada and the UK, is frigging hillarious.

I remember watching this like 5 years ago, always trying to find when it was on, and finaly when it vanished, wondering when it would hit the DVD shelves.

Well it was a long freaking wait. But FINALY it’s here! It’s here it’s here it’s here! Yay!

All our favorite characters are back! Mr Hell! Victorian Lady Detective! Serge the psychotic seal cub! Josh, the reincarnaion guy! Giant squid! Champion the Wonder Snail! Golden baby!
